it would be nice to know locations and times at least a week in advance, so that people with lives outside of football can accomidate and make time to be present at meetings. i am unable to attend today because of poor notification. it's very hard to make teams come to 80% of these things if they don't know where and when until 2 days before. -venting demons management

scott, is it possible to lock down 1 crew in cedarburg. preferably one that doesn't smell like vodka and missing one guy, when they show up? i personally like kernal sanders crew. head ref has a mustache, wears glasses, looks like kernal sanders. exuse my spelling. is there any way to get back paulus?

Can anybody update me on anything and everything new.
Especially team proposal requriements that were passed.
I have sent Rick e-mails, and they have not been returned. So yes I quit sending them.

New Status

Hi all,

I was hoping to talk with Rick before anything got out there. However wisemipro.com broke the story so I have to let everyone know.

As of 9am this morning I was informed by the members of the Board with the Summit Stampeders that I was relieved of my Head Coach position. I was offered to stay on as the GM. The reason given to me is that I talked with Mike Barker about the cyclones coming under contract with the Stampeders. I was told I violated the team charter by doing so. I am not sure if I was or wasn't however teams and people can find reasons to get rid of you weather your in the wrong or not.

So where does this leave me. I will let everyone know in the next couple of days where everything falls. Rest assured that I am letting all the voting owners know that I intend on either staying in the WSFL with another team or I will petition the league for acceptance for next season. I want to thank all of you. I have be able to coach against to of the finest coaches around and got to see how a league should be run correctly. I still want to be apart of the league. IF not this season then for sure then next.

Hawks pre update

Wednesday I have two meetings in Madison for a new home.
So I'll let you all know what is happining after that.

Tis racing season, and as some of you may or may not know, it is my business selling parts and building cars, I might not be at the June 8th meeting due to work.
I would like to get the WSFL's thoughts or opinions on something.
Right now it is the Dane County Hawks. Would it be better to change the nickname? Just wanted your guys' feelings on this.
I also wanted to suggest to the teams close to Madison, or have players that are close to Madison, please get your players committed for 2009 also.
I hope everyone knows I will not recruit any players that are all ready on a team, just wanted to save any possible future aggrevation.
Also I have one Ref Crew that says they want to Ref the majority of our games. It would be Harold Luther's crew from my area. The did a couple of our games in 2006.
Scott, please advise if I should think otherwise.
